Looks like we can expect a resolution to the on-going Kyle Eastmond saga come Monday 28th February.
Sources indicate that a joint announcement will be made, with Eastmond leaving Saints and the engage Super League to join Bath RFC and the Aviva Premiership.
The half back will be released with immediate effect now that an agreement has been reached on a compensation package for the Saints.
Although the outcome is disappointing for the club and the Super League, the resolution of this ongoing saga will be a relief; not least to coach Royce Simmons, who will be hoping that former GB and England stand-off, Leon Pryce, can make a swift return from injury to shore up a stodgy looking attack. All things being equal Pryce is likely to figure in Saints line-up against the Catalan Dragons in France this weekend.
